The National Study of Delinquency Prevention in Schools is a large-scale study of problem behavior and of what schools do to prevent or reduce problem behavior and promote safe and orderly environments. In a large national probability sample of schools, principals, teachers, students, and program implementers described their schools and their practices, and described their own behavior and experiences. An aim of the research was to describe the nature, extent, and quality of interventions or arrangements in schools to reduce problem behavior and promote safety -- with an emphasis on the quality of program implementation.
